Following the two original tracks from the end of last year, Happa and 96 Back are back for a weighty remix swap
In contrast to the playful original, 96 Back’s flip of ‘LS14 Battler’ is a mutant, Electro/DnB hybrid. Swapping out swing for brute force he drives up the tempo with razor sharp drums and mischievous melodics. It’s got one foot on the ‘floor and the other in outer space.
Happa takes the fast, rolling energy of ‘36th Chamberlain’ and repeatedly punches it in the face. Whilst still operating in the slow/fast stratosphere he moulds everything around a rocking Reggaeton rhythm, whilst sound design ricochets off the pounding bassline down below.
